It’s a gorgeous day here in Maine! It’s 70 degrees…in March! It may not be normal, but it sure feels nice at the moment.
So what on earth have I been doing since my last (long ago and far away) post? Well, there’s been a bit of sewing…
And we did have a little snow!
But mostly this winter has looked like this:
We’re still not ready for moments like these quite yet…
But we’re getting closer.
What’s really been keeping me busy and away from this blog (and even from taking many photos) is the fact that we’re expecting a new addition to the family! What with winter temperatures piled on top of first trimester nausea and fatigue, followed by a good six weeks of straight up coughs and colds and various other illnesses…well…it’s been a while since I’ve had much motivation.
But now the sun is shining, the birds are singing and I’m sitting here on this beautiful March day with the door open! At 22 weeks along, the fatigue and nausea have mostly abated and (knock on wood) everyone is healthy again for the moment.
Time for some photos!
